Space Tech Ecosystem Partnership (STEP) Midland 2027: From Oilfield to Orbit

STEP is the flagship event of our Space Tech Series, uniting government, industry, and academic leaders to accelerate the growth of the space and aerospace economy across West Texas and southern New Mexico. Our inaugural conference last year, hosted alongside El Paso County and the City of El Paso, brought together leaders from NASA’s White Sands Test Facility, the U.S. Space Force, UTEP’s Advanced Manufacturing and Aerospace Center, and elected officials from throughout the Borderland. STEP 2026 built upon that momentum with an expanded program and a growing regional footprint. We’re excited to bring STEP to Midland where we’ll discuss numerous topics of interest to the West Texas community and most notably the Permian Basin region. Additionally, we’re offering the opportunity to purchase an exhibit table to market to and network with attendees.
